ReplyDeleteHi busygran, DG, ReeseKitchen, Hanushi, Jane,
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see all your posts. Success or fail, all can join, as long as you have tried. I'm not too good at chiffon cakes too, this is the chance to practise.
Miss B, "Bread" will be one of the themes for our monthly bakes too. See who will help me host for that.
Gert, yes you can submit your DDL chiffon cake, as long as it is posted in the month of Nov. Just need to edit your post to mention that you are submitting this post to Aspiring Bakers #1: Chiffon Cakes (Nov 2010) and link to this page. Then email me according to the format I have given. You are the first to join! :)
Ellena, you must join in! You can submit only if it is posted in the month of Nov. Sorry about it, or else I will receive thousands of posts already. I'm sure you have no problem coming up with a new chiffon cake right. :)

Hey SSB! Great idea that you come out with! I will certainly support you. Monthly would be good for a start. It sounds like the Daring Bakers but those seem too challenging. Perhaps can start off with more simple bakes and progress further. :)

SSB, I can see that the chiffon entries are all in high standard. Sorry that I couldn't attempt this competition because I saw this too late and was too busy to make a chiffon last week. Happy to attempt a 2nd set of baking event. Thanks for organizing this. I'm excited to see the winner of this event :D
ReplyDeleteHi Zoe, I'm sorry that this is not a competition and there will be no winners. It's just a place for us to bake and share our recipes according to the themes designated every month.
ReplyDeleteIf you have posted any chiffon cakes in your blog in Nov, you can send in your entries (only 2 days left)! If not, you are welcome to join us for future monthly event, which will be announced on 1st of every month. :)
