Hong Kong 2013 Day 5: Character Breakfast Buffet at Enchanted Garden

Day 5: 3 November 2013 (Sun)

We spent 1 night staying at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. We were going to have the Character Breakfast Buffet at Enchanted Garden Restaurant in the morning. Woke up quite early, so we went around the hotel for photo-taking.

The hotel lobby area.

Toilet signs ;)

The outdoor area

The pool with a slide. The kids don't have time for this!

There's a Mickey Maze in this hotel!

The stairs leading to the maze.

Beautiful!

Panorama view of the hotel

Time to get back to the hotel for the Character Breakfast Buffet at Enchanted Garden Restaurant. There were 2 sessons for the buffet breakfast. We went in for the second session from 9.30-11am.

The range of food for the breakfast was excellent!

Bread and pastry

Mickey waffles and pancakes! Must take! :D

The western breakfast selections.

Congee and dim sum for the Asians.

Other appetizers and dishes.

Desserts and drinks.

My selection.

As we were enjoying our breakfast, some of the Disney Characters will go around from table to table for photo-taking sessions. That was the highlight of the buffet breakfast. Don't just focus on the food! Cos they come and go very fast!

After the breakfast, we checked out, left our luggages at the hotel and went back to Disneyland to complete as many rides as we can. :)

We left Disneyland at 5pm to catch our flight back. Fyi, Disneyland is only about 10-15 minutes away from airport by taxi and costs about HK$110-125. If you are going by public transport, you need to take MTR and change stations 2 times before transferring to Airport Express. So it is actually cheaper, faster and more convenient to travel by taxi between the Airport and Disneyland when travelling in groups of 2 and more.

Finally completed my Hong Kong trip last year. Here's a summary of all the posts written, tried to break into smaller sections to make it easier to blog. Not wanting to change this blog to a travel one. I know the baking posts are much lesser now. But I love to write down about my travels (though very few) so that I can remember my experience and also share with others at the same time. Looking forward to the next trip soon!
